In Scotland we have a few boats. Not so much the big buggers but 17 ish foot fishing boats.
I buy and sell cheap boats. When someone is interested they mostly state that a similar boat is for sale at a lower price.
Now. Im in Scotland on the west coast. Troon. We dont have the volume of boats up here so the price is different.
Down south on the south coast there are hundreds of boats to choose from hence the price is lower.
Up here it's different.
Yes you can buy a cheaper boat but you have to drive 400 miles to pick it up.
