Hi everyone, I’m Colin 👋
I’m based in Troon on Scotland’s west coast and spend most of my free time messing about with boats, outboards, and a bit of sea fishing when the weather behaves itself.
I started BoatsNBits because I wanted a simple, friendly place for UK boaters to chat, swap advice, buy and sell bits, and generally help each other out — without all the nonsense you get on big social media groups.
I’m no expert, just hands-on and learning like everyone else, so feel free to jump in, ask questions, or share your knowledge. That’s what the forum’s for.
